actually what I'd like is a well-done air.cfg file for the Alphasim Blackhawk. I changed the air file based on stuff I found on hovercontrol but it still flies like a brick (better than default though).

Virtavia is also bringing out a CH47D... which I can't wait for. Virtavia is actually impressing me at the moment... They are responsive to your questions and are definately being proactive about updating aircraft.

Also we need to investigate a decent Tiger so that when the TACPAC becomes available we can start using it. I'm keen to vers a F/A18!

Thanks guys.  Computer arrived, and I have FSX and FSInn running.

Is there a good FSX Blackhawks?

Nothing brilliant... The FSX version of the Alphasim/Virtavia Blackhawk is what I use.

mate, if you want the best bang for your buck, you need to go to the Whirlpool forums - there's a PC subforum there and they have a 'Build my PC' sub sub forum or something, but also a FAQ based on use type eg. normal use vs gamer use. For Gamer use, they have a base, Medium and super specs (with price tags). When I built my pc back in 06, I used the medium specs and gave the specs to MSY computers (here in Bris anyway) and they built it...after 5 years (and a new vid card for $130 + more RAM), it still runs FSX quite nicely.

Anyway, whirlpool forum is where you go - you can also get advice by posting a 'rate my proposed rig' or something - always lotsa guys/gals in the know with good recommendations (and where to purchase them).

Good luck.

Just a quick one from me as I'm about to run off to work, but...

If you're in the know when it comes to computers and hardware I would definitely reccommend creating yourself a custom built system. You'll get the most bang for your buck if you can get yourself a custom built system.

cheers

Guys, my computer has died, and a new one is inbound.

Does anyone have any suggestions recommendations on FSX addon or setup that would help me here at Armyvirtual?
